Keep Norfolk Beautiul manages this program through the Department of Public Works’ Waste Management Division. Community groups, schools, businesses, service clubs, families and individuals are encouraged to participate.

How to Get Started in the Program:
- Assign a group leader responsible for meeting these requirements.
- Pick a street or a spot. Street adoptions must be one mile in length; there are no size requirements for adopting a spot. Groups should pick an area in the community that isn’t already adopted, where they’ve noticed litter to be a problem, or check out our map of litter "hot spots".
- Have the group leader fill out a registration form.
- Once your form has been submitted, KNB will review it for approval and contact you to schedule an orientation/safety training. We work off a waiting list and appreciate your patience!
