What do I do with old paints, motor oil and other Household Hazardous Waste?
Norfolk residents are eligible to take their household hazardous waste to any one of the three locations below. Limit of 5 gallons or 75lbs. of materials per visit.
City of Norfolk Division of Waste Management (1176 Pineridge Road, Norfolk, 441-5813) Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Norfolk Transfer Station 1st Saturday and 4th Wednesday monthly from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Suffolk Landfill Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Chesapeake Transfer Station 3rd Saturday and 1st Wednesday monthly from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
